Technical Overview

HammerEDD supports multiple incoming data formats. This data is then converted to a 100% dot-for-dot electronic rendition of the original document. Documents are then distributed via email, fax, SMS or the Internet.

Each document that is processed through HammerEDD is assigned a unique profile, containing specific information that defines the rules and parameters for
delivering the document.

All data formats are converted to secure PDF, and where necessary merged with a PDF version of your company stationery. Using our unique optimisation and compression methods, HammerEDD’s PDF files are a fraction of the size of documents created through other methods.

PDF is a universal file format that has become the de facto standard for electronic document distribution worldwide, as it preserves all formatting from the original document, and can be viewed and printed by anyone using the free Adobe Reader.

HammerEDD is a secure and legal electronic document delivery solution, which is fully compliant with SARS and the ECT Act.

The applications for HammerEDD are vast. Our clients include financial institutions, retailers, insurance firms, marketing companies, manufacturers,
and government agencies.

HammerEDD is a robust, purpose-built platform that can process up to 20 000 documents a minute. It creates legal and tamper-proof electronic documents in a 128bit encrypted PDF format, with the option for password protection.

HammerEDD is also able to produce workable copies of these secure documents in alternative formats, which can then be imported into other Office applications. These are then incorporated as an additional attachment with the secure document sent to your customer. Attachments can also include non-secure documents such as newsletters, campaigns, and promotions, thus providing you with the ability to promote and market additional service offerings to your existing customer base.
